1. Can Google find your pages?
Check that your robots.txt isn't blocking important pages and that you have a sitemap submitted in Google Search Console.
2. Are your pages indexed?
Use Search Console's page indexing report to see which pages Google has and hasn't included, and why.
3. Page speed
Slow pages lose visitors and rankings. Compress images, remove heavy scripts and test with PageSpeed Insights.
4. Mobile friendliness
Most searches happen on phones. Make sure text is readable and buttons are easy to tap.
5. HTTPS
Every page should load securely over https.
6. Titles and descriptions
Each page needs a unique title and description that says what the page is about.
7. One clear heading
Use one main heading per page and logical subheadings below it.
8. Broken links
Fix links that lead to missing pages, and redirect old URLs to their new homes.
9. Duplicate content
Use canonical tags so Google knows which version of a page is the main one.
10. Structured data
Schema markup helps search engines understand your business, articles and services.
