Your top quick wins

  1. 1Low CTR usually means tired creative or a weak hook. Test 3 new ad angles with a strong first line and a face or product in frame.
  2. 2High CPC often comes from narrow audiences. Try broad or Advantage+ audiences and let better creative do the targeting.
  3. 3Low ROAS points to the landing page or offer. Check page speed, add reviews near the buy button and test a stronger offer.

Benchmarks are rough US/UK medians and the waste figure is an estimate, not a guarantee.

What to fix first

Start with the lowest-scoring check. Creative and landing pages usually move results faster than audience tweaks.

Meta Ads audit FAQs

01What is a good CTR for Meta ads?

Most US and UK accounts see a click-through rate between 0.9% and 1.5%. E-commerce tends to sit higher, B2B lower. Below 0.8% usually means your creative needs refreshing.

02What is a good ROAS for Facebook ads?

A ROAS of 2–3x is a common break-even to healthy range for e-commerce, but it depends on your margins. Work out your break-even ROAS as 1 ÷ profit margin.

03What ad frequency is too high?

Once frequency passes about 3 in a 7-day window, results often drop because people have seen your ad too many times. Refresh creative or widen your audience.

04Is this Meta Ads audit really free?

Yes. The score and tips show instantly with no sign-up. If you want a hands-on review of your account, you can request one below at no cost.

05Do I need to connect my ad account?

No. Just type in the numbers from Ads Manager. We never see your account or ask for logins.
